The sight is constructed of T6 6061 hard coated black anodized aluminum. From the base to the post is 1.208" and weighs 1.9 ounces.  The  sight is designed to lift up and lock in the up position but requires the pivot pin to be pushed to lower.   The PRi Delta Rail mounted flip up front sight is designed just like the original barrel mounted front sight. The front sight works on the Delta forearm rails that sit at a higher elevation than the receiver. The sight is designed to lay backwards in the down position.
